Motivare și moral

În mediul de afaceri actual o componentă esențială este motivarea personalului, deoarece de acest lucru depinde productivitatea și responsabilizarea angajaților. Moralul unui angajat se referă la atitudinea faţă de muncă, de superiori și de organizația din care face parte. Moralul ridicat – ca atitudine pozitivă vis-a-vis de de muncă – este rezultatul principal al satisfacerii nevoilor prin locul de muncă, sau ca rezultat al locului de muncă.

Rolul motivației nu este doar acela de a-i face pe oameni să muncească, ci de a-i face să muncească bine, de a-i determina să-și utilizeze integral resursele fizice și intelectuale.

Motivația reprezintă totalitatea motivelor care determină pe cineva să efectueze o anumită acţiune sau să tindă spre anumite scopuri.

Putem defini motivaţia ca un proces individual, introspectiv, intern, care direcționează, energizează şi susţine un anume comportament. Motivaţia este o „forţă” personală care determină un anume comportament.
